Lilly (Wei) Yang

The Observer. The Creator. The Translator.

I have always been drawn to the stories that go unheard.

My journey has taken me from the remote villages of China to the corporate boardrooms of Munich. Along the way, I’ve realized that true communication isn’t just about perfect grammar or flashy visuals: it’s about empathy. It’s about listening to what isn’t being said.

With a background in social sciences and a decade of life in Germany, I view the world through a lens of curiosity. I study social structures to understand why people behave the way they do, and I use multimedia storytelling to help them feel seen.

My Work Style: Bias for Action

I am not someone who hides behind rigid charts or endless planning phases. I believe clarity comes from action.

I plan by doing. When facing a complex challenge, whether it’s hours of raw footage or a tangled organizational strategy, I dive in. I immerse myself in the chaos, use AI to sort the noise, and let the narrative reveal itself.

I am the Observer. In a room full of voices, I am often the one listening. I absorb different perspectives, connect the dots between conflicting viewpoints, and speak only when I can offer the synthesis that moves us forward.

The Approach: Visual & Visceral

Why video? Because text can explain a concept, but video captures a feeling.

My academic training allows me to spot the patterns in human behavior, but my creative tools allow me to make you feel them. I am naturally drawn to the medium of video because it preserves the color, the emotion, and the messy reality of a moment.

I don’t just want to inform your audience; I want to create an emotional connection that lingers.

The “Off-Duty” Me

When I am not editing or strategizing, I am usually engaging with the world physically and creatively.

You can find me street dancing, knitting, or tending to my indoor jungle as a dedicated plant mom.

My friends often call me their “translator”: not just between languages, but between perspectives. I have a knack for helping people understand each other, even when they think they are speaking the same language.

Let’s connect and tell a story that matters.
