The Corporate Narrative Story
Orchestrating internal alignment and executive reputation for a global financial services leader.
Project Title: Global Corporate Communications & Executive Strategy
The Narrative Arc: “The Corporate Voice: From the Inside Out.”
Role: Corporate Communications Analyst (Internal, Executive, & Market Intelligence).
The Internal Narrative
-
My writing responsibilities ranged from cultural stories to high-stakes organizational announcements.
-
I acted as managing editor, curating topics from diverse departments and coordinating with design teams to deliver the weekly global update.
-
I was entrusted with drafting the initial versions of global strategy emails. My job was to take complex business goals and translate them into clear, motivating messages for the workforce, managing the alignment process with stakeholders to reach the final approved version.
Executive Positioning
-
Executive presence isn’t just about posting; it’s about engaging in the right conversations. I managed a strategic listening & engagement workflow for the CEO.
-
I monitored the LinkedIn activity of other top GBS leaders and industry peers.
-
I identified high-value opportunities where a comment from our CEO would increase visibility and network strength.
-
I drafted specific comments and replies, ensuring the tone was authentic to the CEO while reinforcing our strategic stance. I managed the internal alignment process, ensuring every piece of content was vetted, approved, and ready for publication by the executive office.
Market Intelligence
-
To ensure our content remained best-in-class, I looked outside our walls.
-
I conducted deep-dive benchmarking of other Global Business Services (GBS) companies on LinkedIn.
-
I evaluated their content types, posting frequency, and engagement rates to identify industry trends.
-
This data helped us refine our own content pillars, ensuring we weren't just guessing what worked, but making decisions based on market evidence.

A Social Researcher’s Lens:
Whether it is an internal email or a LinkedIn comment, every piece of communication is an act of social capital.
Internally, we build capital by keeping employees informed. Externally, we build capital by having our CEO engage meaningfully with peers. My background helps me understand these social dynamics and draft messages that strengthen those bonds.
